Mission: Our Our Lady of Hope/St. Luke School, a Christian community rooted in the Catholic faith, celebrates the uniqueness of each child. Children of all faiths are provided with an academic environment rich in spiritual growth.

Well, can you believe it is almost time to come back to school! We hope you have had a well rested summer and are as excited as we are to begin the new school year. Lots of things have happened over the summer. Let’s check them out!!

Our summer reading camp was a success!!! Over twenty-five students attended along with six teachers. At camp, students painted, and cooked while practicing their reading skills. The last day of camp was spent in a celebration with pizza, popcorn and a movie. Check back for pictures from camp.

Thanks to a grant from the Knott Foundation, and with help from AI Business Solutions, five smart boards have been installed into our classrooms. A sixth board was installed in the library over the summer. The boards are beautiful and the teachers excited about incorporating them into their lessons.

We’ve gone wireless!!!! Over the summer, thanks to the Fathers’ Club wireless internet has been installed over the whole campus!!! WOW!!

August 16th there will be an
ALL DAY MUSIC FEST AND FAMILY FUN DAY!

Gates open at noon, show begins at 2:00 $10.00 adults/$5.00 children

Tickets are available at the OLH rectory, Wise Avenue fire department, Jock City or call 410-388-2831 Sponsored by

Finally, a special thanks to the Fathers’ Club for help with the wireless and to Anthony Fares and AI Business Solutions for the installation. See you all soon!!! Bye!
